🐾 Quiénes somos

DRAC4Paws es una asociación y refugio de protección animal situado en Crevillent, en la provincia de Alicante, nacido del amor por los animales y del firme compromiso de ayudar a aquellos que han sido abandonados, maltratados o se encuentran en situación de necesidad.

Nuestro trabajo se centra principalmente en perros y gatos, a los que rescatamos, cuidamos y acompañamos durante todo su proceso de recuperación, tanto física como emocional. Cada animal es tratado como un individuo único, con respeto, paciencia y mucho cariño.

💙 Nuestra misión

Nuestra misión es ofrecer a cada animal una segunda oportunidad, proporcionándole seguridad, atención veterinaria, una alimentación adecuada y, sobre todo, amor. Trabajamos para encontrar hogares responsables y definitivos, donde los animales puedan llevar una vida digna y feliz.

Además, promovemos activamente:

• la adopción responsable

• la esterilización/castración como medida clave para evitar el abandono

• la concienciación y sensibilización sobre la protección y el bienestar animal

🤝 Cómo trabajamos

DRAC4Paws funciona gracias al esfuerzo conjunto de voluntarios, casas de acogida y personas comprometidas que colaboran de distintas maneras. Como organización sin ánimo de lucro, dependemos del apoyo de la comunidad para poder continuar con nuestra labor diaria.

Cada rescate, cada adopción y cada historia con un final feliz es posible gracias a las personas que, al igual que nosotros, creen que cada vida importa.

DRAC4Paws ist ein Tierschutzverein und Tierheim in Crevillent, in der Provinz Alicante, entstanden aus der Liebe zu Tieren und dem festen Engagement, jenen zu helfen, die ausgesetzt, misshandelt wurden oder sich in einer Notlage befinden.

Unsere Arbeit konzentriert sich hauptsächlich auf Hunde und Katzen, die wir retten, versorgen und während ihres gesamten Genesungsprozesses begleiten – sowohl körperlich als auch seelisch. Jedes Tier wird als einzigartiges Individuum behandelt, mit Respekt, Geduld und viel Zuneigung.

Unsere Mission ist es, jedem Tier eine zweite Chance zu geben, indem wir ihm Sicherheit, tierärztliche Versorgung, artgerechte Ernährung und vor allem Liebe bieten. Wir setzen uns dafür ein, verantwortungsvolle und endgültige Zuhause zu finden, in denen die Tiere ein würdevolles und glückliches Leben führen können.

Darüber hinaus fördern wir aktiv:

• die verantwortungsvolle Adoption

• die Kastration/Sterilisation als wichtige Maßnahme zur Vermeidung von Aussetzung

• die Aufklärung und Sensibilisierung für den Tierschutz

DRAC4Paws funktioniert dank des gemeinsamen Einsatzes von Freiwilligen, Pflegestellen und engagierten Unterstützern, die auf unterschiedliche Weise helfen. Als gemeinnützige Organisation sind wir auf die Unterstützung der Gemeinschaft angewiesen, um unsere tägliche Arbeit fortsetzen zu können.

Jede Rettung, jede Adoption und jede Geschichte mit einem glücklichen Ende ist nur dank der Menschen möglich, die – genau wie wir – daran glauben, dass jedes Leben zählt.

DRAC4Paws is an animal welfare association and shelter located in Crevillent, in the province of Alicante, born out of a love for animals and a strong commitment to helping those who have been abandoned, mistreated, or are in need.

Our work focuses mainly on dogs and cats, whom we rescue, care for, and support throughout their entire recovery process—both physically and emotionally. Every animal is treated as a unique individual, with respect, patience, and genuine affection.

Our mission is to give every animal a second chance by providing safety, veterinary care, appropriate nutrition, and above all, love. We are committed to finding responsible, permanent homes where animals can live a dignified and happy life.

In addition, we actively promote:

• responsible adoption

• spaying and neutering as a key measure to prevent abandonment

• education and awareness about animal welfare
